Common colon denominations are 20,000, 10,000, 5,000, 2,000, 1,000, 500 (this denomination is being phased out as a bill and replaced with a coin). Coin denominations are 500, 100, 50, 25, 20, 10, 5, and on rare occasions, you may receive a 1 colon coin. (Generally, clerks round prices down to the nearest 5 colons.)
